Its that time of year. Topps finest is coming out in a little over a month and it looks like it will be a crowd pleaser. Already pushing Darvish as the big name. Box break will get you 2 hits which means the case break will have 16 hits 
HOT BOXES!
Every 4th Case will have a box in which all the base cards will be numbered! I've been waiting for someone to play on certified football's success. It's a novel concept which gives collectors and added chase and extra excitement. Last year the set didn't live up to all the hype but Topps has made some necessary changes to make this a sought after baseball card release.
RETURN OF THE ROOKIE REDEMPTION
Successful in 2010 Topps has brought back the rookie redemption program. In 2010 Topps had them fall every box. Early announcements from Topps has these as very limited. Unlike 2010 these will be autographed. I like the idea of these because it creates a buzz as us collectors wonder which hot rookie it will be. Great marketing from Topps. Harper? Trout? maybe a late call up? Im excited. Got a give a hand to Topps Marketing department. They've been doing some great outside the box promos and last minute additions that have been all around great for the hobby.
DIE CUT MAN CRUSH
This set seems to epitomize the word diecut. As shown above with the Cano auto. Topps is keeping the die cut alive and well. Not sure what they fall per box break but im excited to pull an autograph die cut. Put any more sides to these and they can be used as a weapon. Topps added variety to this baseball card trading set. Last years Finest was focused on the rookies. This year they brought in a great variety. Early sell sheets show : Pujols, Lincecum, Kemp, Pedroia, Halladay, Fielder, Hosmer and more
